Kat contacted HTHG for a DIY hair consultation a couple weeks ago, wanting help blending her dark roots to her bleached ends without frying them. She took my advice and went with a semi-permanent 5-3 (medium golden brown.)

FYI, if the second number is a 3, it means gold. Golds based colors are almost always the safest bet when correcting color hair that has been bleached:)

I think she looks fantastic in that rich brown shade. It will fade a bit from her ends, but help soften the general look and blend the roots, even in the long run. Get it, gurl.
